There are two options available for Venturer Scouts at AJ2025. All Venturer Scouts attending AJ2025 as a member of the Western Australian Contingent are invited to join us on our optional Post-Tour.

Help create an awesome experience for younger youth members. Choose roles from a range of Jamboree teams such as media, entertainment, merchandise, program, catering, operations and administration. The cost for this option is $1,875.

There’s a range of role on offer. When you complete your online application, you’ll be asked to submit preferences for different roles.

Jamboree roles are allocated by the Jamboree Organising Committee in Queensland. Roles may be allocated at any time between June 2024 and December 2024.

Venturer Scouts will travel with the rest of the Contingent. We’re likely to depart on 5 January 2025 and travel home on 16 January 2025. The cost of all travel is included in the event fee.
All Venturer Scouts in a Junior Service Leader role must attend the Leader Orientation Day.
The cost for Venturer Scouts attending as Program Participants is $3,190 – that’s the same fee for Scouts attending the Jamboree.
The cost for Venturer Scouts attending as Junior Service Leaders is $1,875 – that’s the same fee for adult Leaders attending the Jamboree.
Just like all Leaders at the Jamboree, Venturer Scouts are strongly encouraged to have at least two days off whilst at the Jamboree. This is important for managing your own wellbeing during the event.
