Every four years, Scouts have the opportunity to attend an Australian Jamboree where they join 10,000 other young people from around Australia and across the world for a 10 day camp. The next Australian Jamboree will be held at Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park, hosted by Scouts Queensland from 6-15 January 2025.

Attending a Jamboree is the ultimate experience for any Aussie Scout. Imagine spending 10 days enjoying the very best Scouting has to offer: awesome activities, new challenges, and endless opportunities to make friends for life. The Jamboree site is a small city. There is everything you could possibly need, including stages, activity zones, a marketplace, campsites, entertainment, a medical centre and a transport hub. The Jamboree even has its own radio and TV stations! Now imagine the possibilities when you fill that space with 10,000 Scouts – the perfect ingredients to make friends for life!

Then there’s your Jamboree Unit. These 36 Scouts, together with your Jamboree Leaders, will undoubtedly help you to take it to the next level. They’ll be there to support and guide you on this journey of a lifetime.
